Look Inside |
Harwood Methodist Church |
Bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to the people of Harwood |
Our building contains a worship area, café space, kitchen, meeting rooms and activity hall. |
Our worship area can seat up to approximately 250 people, depending on the seating layout. We have a sound system with microphones, speakers and a hearing aid loop. The worship area also has a large LED screen that can take input from the lectern area or from a dedicated audio visual control room. The lectern and communion table stand on the raised area at the front of the worship area. |
The café seating area is used by our “Fellowship Café”, open to anyone, during the day. At one end of the room there is a large screen that is linked into our a/v control room. |
The activity hall can be used for many sporting activities and parties but is also used for other activities, such as our babies and toddlers group (“Harwood Superstars”). |
We have a meeting space that can be configured as one or two rooms using a sound insulating divider. At one end of the space there is a sink that can be used to expand the range of activities possible. |
This is the entrance hall. The font stands in the entrance hall when not being used for baptisms. |
The original Longsight Church building, just across the road from the new church building, houses our “Community Hall” which can be used for a variety of purposes. It has a small kitchen. |
There is Wi-Fi throughout the building for internet access. The Wi-Fi can be used by any group hiring spaces in our new building and by customers in the café. Use of the W-Fi is subject to our acceptable use policy. |
